Rebecca (Becca) Canale (Predoctoral Trainee, 2021-2023) is a graduate student in Clinical Psychology under the advisement of Inge-Marie Eigsti. Her research interests broadly include the neurocognitive factors underlying language and communication in individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Her NIH F31 training fellowship and dissertation project examines individual differences in the temporal dynamics of spoken word recognition and its relationship to standard clinical measures of language abilities in autistic adults utilizing electroencephalography (EEG) and machine learning techniques.
